MetarTAF3D ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an aviation weather application developed and operated by Kalynda Tech / NG Aviation, based in Turkey. The App is published on the Google Play Store and is designed for pilots, flight dispatchers, aviation students, and aviation enthusiasts.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with your use of the MetarTAF3D mobile application.

2.1 Data You Provide

• Airport ICAO/IATA codes you search or save as favorites — stored locally on your device only.
• App preferences and settings (units, theme, notification preferences) — stored locally on your device.

• Your precise GPS coordinates on our servers
• Payment information of any kind
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• Provide core functionality: Fetching METAR/TAF data from NOAA/AVWX and rendering 3D cloud profiles.
• Nearest airport detection: On-device location processing to suggest relevant stations.
• Weather notifications: Delivering push alerts for significant meteorological changes at your saved airports (if opted in).
• App stability: Analyzing crash reports to fix bugs and improve reliability.
• Product improvement: Understanding which features are most used to prioritize development.

We do not use your data for advertising profiling, behavioral targeting, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the App.

Legal Basis (GDPR / KVKK)

MetarTAF3D relies on the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not maintain any server-side database of individual user records. All personalization data lives exclusively on your device.

Opting Out of Analytics

You can disable Firebase Analytics collection by navigating to App Settings → Privacy → Analytics within MetarTAF3D. This will stop all usage event collection without affecting core functionality.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• All API communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit.
• No passwords or financial data are ever collected or stored.
• Local device data is protected by your device's native security (screen lock, device encryption).
• Firebase services are SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified.

While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device OS and the App up to date.

MetarTAF3D is designed for aviation professionals and enthusiasts and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at and we will take steps to delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
• Display an in-app notification for material changes.
• Where required by law, seek your renewed consent.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
